At Trash the Dress sessions, all the little stresses of the wedding day are over, and it’s really a fun and relaxing session. We can take our time, go to a few different places, and just let it happen. The images we get make a very romantic last few pages to a wedding album. Trash the Dress sessions can be done heavy or light — but almost always, the brides wedding gown is not really ‘trashed’. AND..... really. You have just spent a lot of money on the most perfect dress you could find. Why not use it for more than just 1 day?Amy & Kyle’s beautiful wedding was in June, and we did this session the following week. They were great to work with, and are such a fun couple! Their album is going to be GREAT!
I love Sarah, Phill and their daughter Isabella. I felt a connection to them from the first time they set foot in my office. I can hardly wait to see Sarah in her beautiful dress, and photograph their wedding on November 6th at Grande Dunes Ocean Club! It’s gonna be a good one :-)
Family beach portraits are very popular for vacationing families here in Myrtle Beach. They represent a time during the year when the stress of jobs are left behind, the worries of studying for tests and fitting in at school are gone, and is often of a time of true family bonding. The phone has stopped ringing, email is on hold, and at last there is time to simply enjoy the company of each other. It’s great to be able to meet these families at a time when they are fully enjoying life – and capture a moment of that time for them! I can’t even imagine how busy life would be with 3 handsome boys, each involved in their own activities and doing their own thing!
So many of the couples getting married in Myrtle Beach are destination weddings. It’s difficult to plan a wedding from miles and miles away. Many of our brides ask us about florists, DJ’s, the best cake creators and many other wedding vendors. Why? Because they love hearing from someone who has had experience with them. They are hesitant to turn to the yellow pages and chance picking someone who won’t do a great job.To help all couples getting married, we have compiled a list of vendors we have worked with, and would recommend. We have written about our personal experience with them, and included pictures where possible (of coarse!) so you can get a first hand view. Our list is incomplete, and not all links are active yet. Be patient… we are getting it all up as fast as we can :-) Meantime, if you need any recommendations, just email us. We would be happy to help you! You can click on the link below – or look at the top of this page for our vendor tab.
I had soooo much fun working with Emma. She is bright and sparkly, and ready for anything! Emma is from Ohio and was in Myrtle Beach for a dance competition. I know she must of rocked it out-a-da-park! In addition to being beautiful and talented, she is an excellent student at #2 in her class. Emma’s dad wants her to go to an Ivy League college, but mom wants her to stay a bit closer to home. Where ever Emma goes, and whatever she pursues, she has the confidence and intelligence to do anything in the world she wants.
This was such a nice family!!! We had a really great beach session. I get to meet people from all over the country, here for many reasons. They were in Myrtle Beach for a medical convention and took some time out for some family pictures. Thanks Sherri & Adam !!
My friend Gillian, and her husband Joe have been floating on air for months now, in the anticipation of the arrival of their new baby girl. Well, at 2:30 yesterday afternoon, their wait ended. Little Sophia Nicole has arrived ! 7 lbs 2 oz, and perfect in every way:

I love the day when a couple is married, I’m excited to get working with their wedding images, and can post the brides formal portraits! Yes….. Andrea is a married woman as of July 17th! Here are a few of my favorites from her Bridal Session. Isn’t she just
This first image is the one she picked for her canvas to display at the reception.
Wachesaw Plantation is a beautiful place to get married. Add to that, bright colorful flowers, great weather, Wally B as the DJ, and an amazing couple and you know it’s going to be a good day :-) Elizabeth from Grand Occasions made sure the day ran smooth and on time. The beautiful flowers were from Little Shop of Flowers, and the cake was from Incredible Edibles. Amy & Kyle were sooooo much fun! The best men gave a speech and sang the 3 best friends as featured in The Hangover. A story was told at the reception about how for the first 5 dates Amy and Kyle went on…. he didn’t kiss her! Amy was puzzled and wasn’t sure if Kyle liked her or not. But Kyle was just being a good southern gentleman, and waiting for the right time. Just look at them now! They make such a great couple, and are so in love ;-)
I’m really enjoying beach portraits this year. I have had the opportunity to meet so many different people form all over the country, and get a small glimpse into their lives. I love capturing a good moment in time….when people on vacation are relaxed, having fun, and really enjoying each other. This was from a great session last month. THANKS Amy & family!!!
This past weekend, Lisa and Clark got married at the beautiful Dunes Beach & Golf Club. The rain held out, and it was truly the most perfect day! Now, I can finally show off her bridal portraits :-) Lisa is one of the most happy, smiley women I have met …. in addition to being gorgeous! Bridal portraits and wedding pictures alike, she made it easy to get some beautiful shots. Thanks Lisa. Can’t wait to post some of your wedding pictures!
