Sarah & Phill

I love Sarah, Phill and their daughter Isabella. I felt a connection to them from the first time they set foot in my office. I can hardly wait to see Sarah in her beautiful dress, and photograph their wedding on November 6th at Grande Dunes Ocean Club! It’s gonna be a good one :-)

Engagement Session at Caledonia Golf & Fish Club

Kelly and Mark are tying the knot this August in Colorado, where Mark will be returning to school.  I’m so glad I had the opportunity to do their engagement pictures for them!!  We went to the  Caledonia Golf & Fish Club for their session, Mark’s very favorite course.  I can see why – it’s beautiful!  There were even a few little alligators trying to make friends with us :-)Best of luck in your new life together guys!  You are a great couple, and I’m sure you will have a lifetime of happiness together!  I hope you are back for a visit very soon.

Lauren & Jason - April 30th, 2011

There is a quiet calmness within Lauren & Jason’s love…..like it has existed for all eternity. Not rushed or impatient, but sturdy, still and enduring; No beginning…no end. It is amazing, and when you meet these two, one thing is for sure. They were meant to be together.I know how much work and time goes into planning all the little details of a perfect wedding day, this one just seems too far away. I can hardly wait till next year when they get married! I already know their day will be incredible. They have waited 5 long years till both had graduated from college for their day. The wedding will be held in Pawleys Island, where Jason grew up and they will start their lives together. Guys —- I can’t wait!! Thank you so much for allowing me a glimpse into your love.

She Said YES!

It’s a really good thing I did not know about this HUGE surprise for too long.  I’m just am no good at keeping exciting news a secret!  Yes…I’m one of those who carry my emotions right there on my sleeve.  My family & friends tell me I don’t even have to open my mouth and they know I’m about to burst.  They just look in my eyes and say “OK….who’s pregnant, getting married, or just got the worlds greatest job”.The set up?  Family pictures.  Before hand, Matt and I had schemed though.  While posing them, at some point I would just ask him to get down on one knee.  He could take it from there :-)  As you can see…..Shannon had no idea.  WAY TO GO MATT !!!!Congratulations you two.  I’m so excited for you both!  Matt – Thanks for letting me be there to capture this moment for you guys.  I will soon post the rest of your engagement pictures, but just could not wait to share these :-)

Krystal & Joe's Surprise

Here is a something fun!  When we did Krystal & Joe’s engagement pictures…they planned a few extra pictures as a little surprise.  You may remember seeing their engagement pictures, but not these!   Now that they are married….I can post them  :-)  What a totally FUN couple!!!  Bridal Portraits and Wedding pictures coming soon….

A Day In DC With Elizabeth & Matt

Everything in DC was simply beautiful in full bloom, including Elizabeth & Matt’s love for each other! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. I have the best job in the world :-) It was a true joy to work with these two and to get to know them a little better. On October 16th,2010 Elizabeth & Matt will say their vows at what promises to be an exquisite wedding at the Grande Dunes Members Club.

Andrea & Mark

Andrea & Mark are an adorable couple who are very much in love.  You can see it in their eyes. The way they look at each other, those little glances, the sparkle :)  I took their engagement pictures in Pembroke, which is where we will also be going to photograph their wedding this July.  The swing you see in the pictures below, is where they shared their very first kiss.  It’s also where Mark proposed! Soon they will be moving to Charlotte where Mark will attend grad school.  He is a future lawyer.  I really enjoyed getting to know them both better, and am so looking forward to sharing such a HUGE day with them.  Thanks guys  -  I’m very excited about your wedding!
